The screened sides were the perfect choice for our picnic! Very roomy for our food, desserts and beverages.
1 of 1 found this helpful I wanted a canopy tent for a family picnic and it needed to be one that was easy to put up and take down, plus I wanted it to be made well enough to use over and over again. I'd looked at many tents and finally chose this one because of the screens. It was 85 degrees out and humid and we had all of the food, desserts and drinks in the tent and because I'd gotten the kind with no sides it wasn't stiffling hot in there. If I'd gone with one with sides and windows it would have been very uncomfortable.If we'd removed the sides then we would have had flies on the food. Plus the canopy kept the sun off the food so our ice table lasted much longer than in the past. This worked out great! Absolutely the right choice for our needs.
I also loved that I could have the entrance to it where I needed it because there were choices.
The whole outside screen is one piece so it just wrapped right around the poles and you velcro it into place. I wasn't there for the setting up but I helped take it down and it was easy enough.
The only thing that surprised me was that the sides leave a gap which means that crawling insects can get in, but that wasn't a problem for us.
Everyone at the picnic loved it too and they were very happy that I had this next to the pavilion for our food.
