Always great... even to the end
I've always been a casual fan of Leonard Cohen. I have his Greatest Hits and always enjoyed what I heard from him, even if I wasn't familiar with it. Got a recommendation on this album and it starts off great and doesn't stop. You hear a tune with this luring voice, powerful lyrics, and sweet backup vocals and band and think, how can the next song top that - but it does!
Great audiophile recording as well. Buy this on vinyl if possible. I rank this album up there with those from the '70's.
