Good camera in spite of the familiar annoyances...

I used to have the Coolpix 775. After I bought a bunch of new batteries and CompactFlash cards for it, it broke. When I found out that the Coolpix 4300 used both the batteries and CF cards, I researched some more and found that it was like what I had before, but better. And the price was right. I like the clarity of the pictures and the 4 megapixels are just right (HELLO!!! 10 Megapixels are great if you're blowing your photos up for a bus stop poster). The 3x zoom is good too (but I wish they'd stop wasting our time with digital zoom, which always pixilates). The price beat other places selling them used. It does have the common digital camera annoyances: It has a pause between pressing the button and actaully snapping the picture; it takes some time for the flash to recharge between shots. I was already used to this with the old model, thus none of this was a surprise. I will ramble no more. There are many reviews online and if you read them, you'd have the same good impression I got... and that impression would be correct.

Good case - good price.

Good looking case that completely envelopes the phone. The screen protector is responsive to touch and stylus as if it weren't there. Though the screen protector does gather finger prints, it is easily wiped down. I'm trying to loosen the power port and headphone jack covers - the material is very stiff so that it presses on the wires when inserted. Trying to avoid them damaging any connections, I use a rubber band to hold them open when something is plugged in. Some people might want to just cut them off. The phone is big to begin with, and this adds to it's heft... but I'm ok with that. I wish it showed off more of the phone's nice color, but no big deal.
