up grade computer listening experience
This unit really brings new life to the music videos I like to listen to.

Oreck XL2000 Vacuum
3 of 3 found this helpful This is a good vacuum, although if you loo it up in Consumer Reports you will see that other, less expensive vacuums out preform it. However, it is light and well made which makes up for a lot of shortcomings. Before the Oreck, we used a variety of vacuums. The bagless are, as a class, usually heavy and hard to manuver. Dyson's rant about bag vacuums losing suction is, I suppose, true, but that problem is easly solved by changing the bag while the excess weight of bagless machines can't be solved save by using some other machine. I rationalize the Oreck's lack of preformance relative to, say, a Hoover this way; if you use a machine more frequently because it is light you are ahead of the game. A heavy but effective machine does you little good if it is too heavy to use.
Another down side of the Oreck is that it doesn't have any on-board tools. So. . . it really won't be the only machine you use. It will probably be the one that you use the most, though. One other thing that deserves mentioning is the price of bags. Historically, brands like Oreck have required one to buy expensive bags, usually from the manufacturer. Lately, though, Walmart has begun selling Arm and Hammer brand bags for the Oreck; three bags for $5 which is very competitive. In short, I like the vacuum but if you are considering one, be aware of its strengths and weaknesses.

Poorly veted product disappoints.
I have a zvox that I like very well. I had hoped to get another for a second house that would work as well. Unfortunately, this particular unit is defective and I am in the process of returning it.
