Great upgrade over LTE
Works great, with solid 5G performance. It's a major boost in speeds over a failing LTE Hot Spot.
It is, as other reviews have noted, slow to boot. The default security setting is "WPA3/WPA2 Transition". Had to downgrade that to the slightly older "WPA/WPA2 Mixed Mode" using the Verizon admin program to get it to work with a slightly older wifi internal card and also an even older wifi thumb drive. In the Admin program go WIFI > Primary Network > Network Settings > Security:
USB tether speed tests generally twice as fast as wifi. Ethernet speed tests about 10% to 20% less than USB, but that might be a limitation of the motherboard's on board ethernet.
Unit advertised as "Open Box" condition. It was cosmetically perfect but came maxed out with 100 messages to ??? in its memory and log. A factory reset cleaned it up and now working perfectly.
