Simple a WIFI EXTENDER
I expected this to be an EXTENDER AND to combine the 2ghz + 5 ghz bands together... to give increased bandwidth.
It "extends" but doesn't "combine"... so not usable me!!
Probably a good unit for most other people... just not what I thought

Formatted but HD failure reports last 2 tries??
Not sure what my "review" is based on here...
if the drive MODEL... good buy for a fair-sized drive.
if the SPECIFIC UNIT... still not sure about THIS drive. Tried to download/install Win8.1 on it and it said (3 times) download aborted cause of drive error. So tossed it in a drawer until I can find something to test this unit.
Hopefully, download issue was from MS website and not physical drive.

Great piece of equipment
This adapter is great... I've dozen or so laptop drives... was putting them in USB covers but take up more space than these adapters... alot faster also.
I bought two!!!
