CM8200 not supported by Arris technical support.
10 of 13 found this helpful Arris does not support the line touch stone, especially product named CM8200. If you buy this, you are on your own.
Modem is stable and works well until it disconnects. Reason for disconnecting: upstream signal needs to be in range of 45-51dbmv for 4 channels. cable providers have 33-55dbmv supported range. They cannot or refuse to increase power on upstream, to meet Arris specification, since it might cause isseues in the sytem, and cable provlider have QOS, to maintain the line.
If you have 35-38dbmv upstream signal please use Netgear CM1000, same hardwre with fixed bugs, arris lagging behind.
Stay away from CM8200 regardless who your provider is.
