Only five plugs work, not eight

Don't buy this
2 of 2 found this helpful Don't buy this I bought four of these wanting to add some purple color to my tank… Within one weeks time all of the purple particles had broken off and we're floating around in my water, leaving a very very faded pink… All those particles breathe then by my fish.

ADJ EXR HEX PAR
What's up everybody, I had the old 1st edition par 64 RBG lights, but relegated the 6 of them to my living room ( It looks cool as hell ) So, it was time to upgrade, and hearing about wifly started all this, so i immediately bought 3 ADJ EXR HEX PAR lights, 2 for $350 , one open box for $300 and a Wifly Battery transmitter For $150 to connect my Operator 190 DMX Controller. I was skeptical but optimistic, and all paid off. These lights are just freaking awesome!! Bright as hell ( purple UV is not as bright, but it is the main reason I got these, and it is still really great, I think i'll have the amount of purple light i need after i buy my 4th HEX PAR ). WifIy is seamless and easy. I went to the dmx section on the led readout, entered 1, 17, and 33 , lit up the first 3 fixtures on my controller, and turned them on. Holy bright! The white is easier on the eyes than just turning up R,G and B all the way, and the amber is great to have, cause you blend in some red, and now we have a usable Orange , which is great. The UV purple is really nice and this fixture is THE ONLY wifly, rechargeable DMX light ADJ makes. The only other wifly UV light ADJ makes is not DMX....and I hate them for that, but that is another story. ADJ, if you read this, PLEASE make a damn stand alone UV Wifly light that is DMX!!!!!!!!!! That said, I tried the little white remote made for these lights, i ordered one that did not work at all, the second one had buttons that did not work making it useless. ADJ total fail on these cheaply made pieces of crap. They make an amazing light for $400 and a shit remote for $20....It up FAIL on both of those. All that said, they charge well and hold out at least five hours, compact, bright, fast and wireless!! These are the best par lights out right now, get the Wifly battery transmitter, get the EXR HEX PAR lights, skip the remote, skip the carrying case, skip the controller , get an operator 192 or another small controller that can record scenes and chases, and get to work!! Enjoy!!
