Lots of pockets

Lives up to iGaging's reputation for accuracy.
The jaws run smoothly and firmly on the rack, and they measure within a couple thou at the tip as at the base. The display is large and clear and the controls are simple enough. I have only a few very minor dings:
1. It doesn't turn itself off, so you will drain the battery if you forget when you put it away.
2. It's sturdy enough for the shop, but I don't know if it would stand up to field work.
3. I wish that it had a fractional inch display.

US made makes a difference
I have owned a variety of Chinese made drill sets, and always thought that they were "almost as good and much cheaper" than US made drills. But it finally dawned on me that I was filling and breaking them too often. So I bought this set of Norseman drills, and what a difference! They cut better and last longer than any of my old sets. I'm never, ever, going back.
My only minor complaint is that the drill index is too small for those of us with fat fingers. But that gives me an excuse to buy a drill stand, so it's all good.
