If you havent got the real thing this is a good second best
I had some new canvas dummies with no scent on them my dog was struggling to locate them.
I put some scent stick on them (only a small amount) and she zeros in on them in cover and at long distance with no problems. Check the wind direction before sending your dog to give her the best chance of finding the scent

quite expensive, but not many options for other makes. To make it look right from the rear takes a bit of time
this was the longest hugger I could find for this model Triumph, the alternatives were only half the length which meant they would protect the rear shock but all the muck off the road would be splattered around the rear of the bike.
the fit was ok but not great, it needed a bit of forcing to get it in line with the wheel

wooden replacement long fork / spade handle
This a long replacement spade/fork handle, it might not suit everybody but I am quite tall so ideal for me.What can you say, its a wooden handle which may need some work to get it to fit your implement, but once its fitted its nice to use
