Very Good Collection of Information on Life in Cambodia
I bought this book and another with a similar title, and while both books are very good and informative, I enjoyed this one much more. It is well written with a touch of humor and more in-depth detail. I had been interested in these books because my daughters were adopted from Cambodia, and we as a family, are always interested in learning about the country, people and culture. Although the book is written as a guide for anyone planning a visit or an extended stay in Cambodia, we learned quite a lot about ordinary day to day life, as well as traditions and etiquette. It is enjoyable to read, and has the feel of having a casual conversation with a well-informed friend. We still have a few questions that weren't addressed, but the chapters covered nearly everything we were curious about as well as a few things we didn't know at all.
