Fixed Intermittent Problem with Trane Furnace
Trane XE90 furnace was working intermittently. (Read that as when you really needed it, it wouldn't!) When it was being temperamental, it would give a 3 or 4 blink LED error code and keep trying to fire up but not successful. Sometimes it wouldn't turn off the draft inducer motor while trying to fire up. It took a long time to find the problem. It turned out to be a bad solder joint on the circuit board. While I tried re-soldering, it only worked for a short time. This replacement fixed everything so I can sleep at night without wondering if the furnace will actually fire up. :-)
