Excellent arrangements for intermediate level finger style guitarists.
The arrangements in this book are excellent. I recommend the book to any classic rock fan who can play finger style guitar using tablature or standard music notation. In my opinion, the arrangements of “Bridge over Troubled Water”, “I’d Love to Change the World”, and “Norwegian Wood” are the best. Just those 3 are worth the price of the book, but others are very good too.

Nice selection of tunes, but some (Elvis) repeats if you own other books
I have several of these Hal Leonard Play Along book CDs for guitar. They are a great way to learn to play the songs, using tablature and CD tracks with and without the guitar part. This was a nice addition to my collection, although I already have the Elvis Presley Play Along, so I didn't need Little Sister & Mystery Train, which on here are exactly the same tab and tracks. However, Blue Suede Shoes is the Carl Perkins version on here and is somewhat different from Elvis'. Perkins' is slightly less rock'n'roll than Elvis.

"Wind" is the only reason to buy this...
1 of 1 found this helpful The progressive rock FM stations in the early 70's often played "Wind" by Circus Maximus. With lovely piano, a nice guitar riff and great vocal, I always loved that song. Now I bought it on CD, and was surprised at how mediocre the rest of the songs are. The only other song I remember getting airplay is "Fading Lady", one of the Jerry Jeff Walker tunes on the CD. That one is half decent. I'm glad to be able to hear "Wind" whenever I want, and I'll occasionally listen to "Fading Lady", but the rest is pretty bad, in my opinion.
