Coil Review
This coil fixed the problem I was having with my GT 1554 tractor dropping a cylinder at intermintant times. But it was not an exact fit replacement for my factory original part.
Looking at the photo and the mounting holes/slots, the slot on the left side is milled out further away from the side of coil then the slot is on the right side. So the original flanged-head screw fits on the left side but it won't fit on the right side. The screw hits the side of the coil so much that you can't even start it into the hole.
I got around this by grinding off the flange on the one factory screw. I shouldn't have to do this on a part advertised to be a correct replacement for a factory part.
