Replaces old points in 1970 cb350 twin
1 of 1 found this helpful It came with instructions for mounting. And was in and out in a matter of minutes. The timing is a little tricky and needs to be done with a timing light. The wiring instructions could be a little more clear. The main point is that there is no index mark on the plate, so initial timing is almost guaranteed to be off. The other thing is that there is no place to plug into the original wiring so splicing is a must. I replaced the junction for the black and white ignition coils with a 3 way connector and it works great. For tinning, I set it, started the bike then adjusted the plate rotation so that the idle was about 1000-1200 rpms and it’s pretty close.
