The Volume Up/Down and Mute buttons do not work!

This was clearly used (scratches, etc.), but I'm fine with that. What I'm NOT fine with is a partially working remote. I expected a fully operational remote! The Volume Up/Down and Mute buttons do not work (critical!) and the AMP button does nothing. The input select buttons all work, and the power on/off buttons work. I didn't try most of the other buttons because they do not matter if the volume and mute buttons do not work--that was why I bought this in the first place!
