Intuit Quicken Mac 2007 (10.6,10.7, 10.8, 10.9,10.10,10.11 &10.12 Compatible!)

Not a good replacement for Quicken Essentials

I purchased this version because my Quicken Essentials stopped working when I upgraded my Macbook Pro to High Sierra (Apple stopped supporting PowerPC apps). Was able to install and run Quicken Mac 2007 on my Macbook Pro O/S 10.13.1, but could not import the data from the Quicken Essentials files stored on my Macbook. I was able to recover Quicken Essentials on another Mac, but the Export from Essentials on the recovered files and the import to Quicken 2007 on my Macbook did not pick up all my transactions. I plan to try again, but just have not had the time to noodle through the process. In the mean time, I am using remote desktop to access the files on the computer running the recovered Quicken Essentials app. I see no value in a subscription based service, so I refuse to by a Quicken 2018 subscription. I am looking at archiving the Quicken Essentials data in an Excel file and starting new the first of the year with a application like CheckBook Pro.
