Perfection!
As a professional user of the BIRD series of wattmeters since the late 80:s I have seen and tried other manufacturers of slugs over the years, But no-one comes close to the quality and precision on the market today, and hardly even BIRD themselves even "back in the day".
There is only one word to describe it really; perfection!

Great stuff for all rock guitarists !!!
Warm, crunchy sound like an old tube amp just starting to sweat !
The only thing I lack in this pedal, compared to the legendary Tube Screamer and it´s likes, is GAIN.
It has almost the gain you need for a simmering hot solo Texas Style, but just almost.
Not quite enough.
The boost feature gives you the sound and function of a good old boost pedal, but does not help with the input gain at all.
It just increases the output.
And no, you can not have the OD and the Boost separately, one enhancing the other, they both come on or off at the same time.
All in all, a very (!) good overdrive with a great vintage sound, but with just that little annoying bit too low gain.

At this price, this can´t be beat.
Quiet, lots of power and a great performer.
I can safely recommend this one to all buyers.
It is a bargain ! :)
