Unreliable operation
0 of 2 found this helpful The USB stick shows errors when plugged into different computers at different times. The OS reports that it needs to be formatted. I have done that several times (losing any saved data while doing so), and then it works for a time or two, until it fails again.

Good for fixed position
The lens is about 2X magnification and is fairly good quality. The clamp and gooseneck do not work well if you are trying to constantly re-position the lens. The clamp alows vertical rocking, and the lens wanders after placement. The LED light is good for small, close-in work.

Structural Problem
After several weeks of use, the back of the panel split open vertically due to the thermal expansion of the heater. The front face is still intact, but I would expect it to eventually fail as well. Not sure if it is safe to continue to use.
