Amazing sound for a good price
3 of 3 found this helpful This unit replaced an Yamaha RX1800 that I had been using for about 8 years, and there is no comparison, the sound quality and clarity is night and day, the A3050 sounds so much better that it is blowing my mind every time I use it. I really enjoy all the new features and like all the ability to control the unit using a smart phone.
I'm now enjoying the Dolby Atmos in a 7.1.2 configuration and looking forward to more titles with this format.
The only thing I don't like is the display, I really think a 3 line display would suit this unit better, but they carried it over, since my RX1800 it's only a 2 line display and now on the A3050 they decided to use the first line as a constant for the input the unit is on, the second line you have to choose between the DSP you have selected or the Audio decoder, one at a time. I really wish the first line could be configurable for like, once I select the input it would say the name of the input, i.e. Bluray, and after a couple of seconds, show me something else, like the decoder for instance. I don't need one line constantly telling me which input the unit is on, I can tell by what is being played, now I do need one line for the decoder and another for the DSP.
Now I find myself always looking for the button on the remote to see the DSP and the Audio Decoder it is using, not nice, but something that I'm gonna have to live with.
The calibration process is very easy to use and the on screen instructions give you everything you need.
I really love this unit and would recommend to anyone.

It's pretty awesome!
I'm a return customer for infinity fans. I love them, quite and simple to use with just a USB connector.
I measured the before and after temperature on my modem, it was reaching 110F before, and 80F after, which was room temperature.
Love it!

Disappointing for an upgrade
1 of 2 found this helpful I recently bought a new TV and a Sound Bar and decided to upgrade my harmony 890 for the 900, because of its sleek design. Unfortunately I did not do my homework to research how good this product was. Coming from the 890 which has Z-Wave technology and is able to support a sequence of commands I thought the 900 would carry these features as a legacy. Well, after I received it I found out the truth and was really disappointed with Logitech. So simple things, why in world would they remove them?
Besides these two functions that are not present on the 900, the remote is very nice constructed, seems a lot better than the 890. I love the additional buttons and the touch screen. The RF feature is a lot more reliable on the 900 than it was on the 890. Two bad it doesn't support Z-Wave anymore to command my lights.
If you are buying a new remote e do not care for Z-wave and ability to add a sequence of commands to a single button, then I trully recommend this 900 model, if you are upgrading from older version, do your homework (that I failed to do) and see if it is suitable for your needs and things that you are used to do with your old remote.
