Very good quality build and optics, excellent value
I'm new to microscopes, but I've been working with optical gear (telescopes, cameras) for decades. I wasn't sure if this would have good optical quality at this price point, given how much more one can spend without trying. However, the field of vision is wide, and the image with the first three lenses (resulting in 40x, 100x, and 400x) is so good that I cannot discern any imperfections at all. I have 20/16 vision, so I am often fussier about these things than normal. I haven't tried the 1000x configuration (oil lens) yet, since that's not particularly relevant to my application.
I have attached a camera to the third port, and that works well too.
I also had cause to ask the company for assistance on a couple of topics, and they have a very competent agent ready to answer questions by web-chat).
