no air intake resonator in a dodge neon

Disregard the oem part number, this air intake resonator does not fit a dodge neon. Its huge size is more suitable for a large truck. Furthermore, neither the manufacturer service manual nor any other source of information state that the dodge neon utilizes an air intake resonator.
