It didn't work
None of my 3 cats liked the idea of an enclosed cat litter box. My cats are 5 to 8 years old. They hated it. They were very uncomfortable inside it. The lid doesn't snap into the base so any sudden movement like the cat trying to get in or out will make the lid fall off. I am using it with the lid off, but I will be switching to one of my previous litter boxes that are cheaper and are made of a sturdier plastic. After watching a Jackson Galaxy video, I realized that cats don't really like closed litter boxes and this was a mistake. If you still want to go for it, please note that the lid doesn't have any ventilation. This helps keeps the smell inside it, but I think this makes cats even more uncomfortable. My oldest cat started to pee all over the house because she had to made a point that she hated the litter box with the lid on. She peed on top of the kitchen cabinets, the counter top and the new couch. Who knows where else she peed. I tried for a couple of months to get them to use it, but their behavior was turning bizarre each day so I gave up.

Affordable and safe relief
