Needs a second plug - does not provide 2 plugs, only 1.

This is a standalone unit AND REQUIRES AN ADDITIONAL EXISTING POWERLINE ADAPTER to work. Meaning - Not two plugs comes with this, just a single plug so you must already have some kind of existing setup, how ridiculous.

Good if you flash custom firmware

PLEASE READ - This router has "dropout" issues but can be resolved if you flash DD-WRT (slayer build) on it. That's my only fix. If you see netgear's forums its got a lot of "drop out" issues on this router.
