Easy to cut and pieces make good anodes for mini galvanic cells

This zinc strip arrived shiny and ready to use. I cut it into pieces (regular scissors) for a series of Zn|Zn(II)||Cu(II)|Cu galvanic cells and the volltage was a consistent 1.1 V per cell.

Great AA battery holders for hobbyists
