Comfortable to play, but replace pickups!!!!
Pickups are weak at best. I put in a EMG 81X in the bridge. I only use bridge pickup anyway. The fret ends were all sharp and needed filing. The tuners are as stiff as I ever used. But oddly enough they hold tune.
The body is a silly sparkle finish, not what I would call a Drop tuned 7 string metal look. The neck profile is superb!!!! The basic glossy finish, but smooth. To sum it up. Get rid off the electronics and dump in some quality pickups. And paint over that terrible sparkle finish.I would buy another one but maybe for $120.00
Not worth the asking price.

Bang for the buck
If you want to waste your money on a Squier Bullet guitar go ahead. This guitar has no sharp fret ends. It has a huge spring block for the tremolo for added sustain. Thick rosewood slab on the fretboard. Above average pickups. No flaw paint job. The tuners are average at best but function. But the best part is the playability. It is smooth as silk!

Best Bang for the Buck!
Hey I've bought and sold hundreds of guitars on Ebay. Many cheap brands, some Gibson and Fender Schecter, Ibanez ect. i'm not a gigging pro, Just a lover of guitars. the Squier Vintage Modified is well built, Indonesia Cort factory. Duncan Designed SSS pickups. Thin neck, superb finish. I did a total set-up though. Intonantion, fret polish and most of all loosen the tremolo springs. Good God they tighten them up to make the tremolo unusable. Of course you need to ease up the tension as to make it fun, but also leave enough tension to return to tuning. Lube the nut and bridge saddles, lower the action, new Ernie Ball .09 slinky and you got a great guitar for under $250.00. Is it
as good as a American strat, nope, but it's every bit as good as a Fender Standard from Mexico.
