Better than orignal
My tensioner was 9 years old (it doesn't owe me anything) the gates tensioner showed some improvements over the original design. If you get 9 years or more than 60k miles out of this it's an excellent buy

Quality construction
Genssi in my opinion is on top for quality hid kits. I have two vehicles and a motorcycle with hid kits all roughly 3 to 4 years old never had a problem. This is my first led kit from Genssi and I have no fear these will be trouble free also
