Good quality for the money
I bought this to connect my Olympus camera - after an adapter cable that I bought earlier turned out to be a dud. This one is cheaper than the cable, but works perfectly, totally reliable. If your household are like the mine, i.e., a common one, you'd already have a bunch of male-male HDMI A cables, so the cable piece is probably just waste anyway. Also because electric path is super short in a converter, plating is less important.

Works as promised
5W heat sink isn't much - this is the first lesson I learned after receiving this package. But the price is right. For what it is, it works perfectly. You just need to know your application.
