Not for masters, but excellent for beginners and for a refresher.
This book is a terrific intro to chess. It covers the basics for anyone just starting the game. It includes strong development fundamentals even if you don't know the openings. It also includes an intro on the basic main lines of the most popular openings/defenses in the day (1950's to 1970's). Though less so today, it remains a good basic book for anyone just starting chess or getting back into it that needs a quick refresher refernce guide. If I may, the very best book every chess player should have in their collection is Bobby Fisher Teaches Chess. Why? Because it teaches/refreshes the fundamentals of checkmate. Even better, it's laid out in comic book fashion. Starting out, it might take you 4 hrs to go through and understand the principles/positions. As a refresher, 90 minutes. Once you've mastered all the concepts, 10-15 minutes. These two books, Fred Reinfeld's First Book of Chess and Fisher's book are the two most important books for anyone to get the edge back on your game. Experts and Masters may disagree - but for the average chess player, I can't recommend these books highly enough for rapidly improving your game.

    A Classic
This is an easy to read fictional account. There are still opponents to the conceptual sweeping effectiveness of an energy pulse from nuclear detonation test data is sketchy - but this story makes one think about what if. ...and that part is priceless and what makes it a must read for any inquiring minds.

    Great mouse.
I'm a lefty, but go either way with mice. This one just fits. Its clean, looks good, feels right. I never use wireless because of worries about failing batteries and faulty functioning. This one works right every time. It also has not one, but two mid-button scrolling wheels. Press the scrolling wheel and drop an anchor for hands free scrolling to review and read large documents or news articles. My wife got a new lap top and tried taking mine. Simple solution - I found the identical mouse on line - thank you e-bay.
