Great Mounting Set!
I recently purchased an Xpress 18' center console boat. It has a cushioned built in seat with live well that is the only seating for the operator and passenger. This provides no back support while operating the boat. There are two pedestal seats for fishing.
I wanted to mount two seats for the operator and passenger. However, any permanently mounted seat would be in the way when using the pedestal seats. This mount is just what I needed,
I purchased one to see how it would work. The front mounting bar has six mounting screws; two on the top and four in the front. I found this to be an over kill and only used the two top screws I also elected not to use the rear clamping bracket. This way the seats are instantly removable but still very well secured. I used a strip of adhesive backed padding on the rear of the mount to prevent scratching the built in seat finish.
I mounted the bracket so it is aligned with the steering wheel when slid to its innermost position. I will do the same with the passenger seat.
Now that I have mounted the first one and am pleased with it I have ordered a second set for the passenger seat.

Low cost = Low quality. OK for the price.
1 of 1 found this helpful It is a good value for the price. The quality is what is to be expected at this price. The leather is very dry and stiff. I purchased this for my grandson to carry his Airsoft 1911 in. It is good enough for this.

Great device!
After five back surgeries and having spinal fusion from L1 to pelvis it is impossible for me to bend over or even cross my legs to put on socks. This device is a godsend. Suggestion: a little baby or foot powder helps your foot to slide easily through the device. Highly recommended
