Easy, worthwhile upgrade
Breathed new life into a >10-year-old HP ProDesk G1 SFF PC. Its original i3-4130 was fine for light-duty tasks, but once I started playing with VirtualBox, encoding video, etc., that CPU's age was really starting to show. Thankfully, upgrading to this i7-4770S was the solution, and even allowed me to stick with the factory heatsink and fan.
