J. B. Phillips' translation makes spiritual truths clear!
I love this translation of the New Testament. It helps me to understand, in language that is straight forward and without ornamentation, what these men of faith are saying about their Savior. It is very faith promoting. I was first introduced to this translation because I told a friend that 1 Corinthians 13 was my favorite Bible verse. Reading J. B. Phillips translation of it clarified why it was my favorite chapter in a new way.

The Bible laid out for new and fresh Spiritual Insights.
If ;you are looking for a new perspective for your Bible Study, I would highly recommend these volumes. The Bible's content is organized differently that it is in any other Bible. What they do is explain why it is organized that way and invite the reader to engage with the Bible differently. God's word is one way He communicates with us, His children. So, I have found shaking up how I read the God's word a blessing.
