Proof that Genesis were more than Phil Collins backing band
Genesis post Phil Collins was always going to be a tough sell but this concert from the 1997 Calling All Stations tour ably proves that Ray Wilson was a worthy successor. Pulling some classic songs from the Genesis back catalogue and some new classics from Calling All Stations. Highlights include The Lamb lies down on Broadway, Domino, The Dividing Line and an acoustic rendition of Dancing with a moonlit knight… and a snippet of Supper’s Ready.
The video quality is suspect in places but the sound is excellent and it’s a worthy addition to any Genesis collection
