Shure 215 Special Edition
1 of 1 found this helpful These are the most comfortable earbuds I've ever experienced. I bought them primarily for sleeping (the gf snores). Even without white noise or music, they cancel out any ambient noise better than ear plugs. I'm a side sleeper so profile was my main focus. These nestle in my ears perfectly and I have small ears. There's no pressure put on the inside of my ears or ear canal while lying on my side because these have a negative profile (they actually sit inside my ear cavity).
The orientation of the wire is also perfect. I don't notice them at all. The built-in wire controls are a big bonus too. I don't want to reach for my phone every time I want to adjust volume.
They came with 6 sets of earpieces. No matter what size ears you have, something will fit comfortably. 3 are almost like a memory foam so to say. You put the earbuds in and they conform to YOUR ears. This material makes the noise cancelling even more effective. The other 3 sets seem to be rubbery although I haven't even removed those from the packaging.
Sound quality is amazing! They hit the low bass tones as well as the highest of highs with ease. I don't listen to rap or anything but I do love bass.
I also wear them at the gym while lifting. My only issue is that if someone tries talking to me, turning the volume down doesn't help much. I have to remove the earbud to hear anything they're saying because they really cancel out that much background noise. If that's the only even somewhat negative thing I can come up with, I'd say that these are a pretty damn good investment.

This is my second set of Kagu’s. First is in my Audi Q8. Those fit absolutely perfect. This set went in my 2020 RST crew cab WITH carpeted under seat storage bin. The bin is secured to carpet and tire changing tools are secured to vehicle. This mat needs to be trimmed perfectly or it will not cover properly/look good. These will be perfect for someone without the storage bin. If you’re willing to remove the bin and trim the mat, you’ll be fine. Or just ram the mat as far under the bin as you can and live with it.
I just wish it was a set it and forget deal.
With that said, I’ve owned 4 sets of weather tech’s and I’ll be sticking with 3D maxpider from now on.
