This is the same old part as the AUTOMETER 2242
1. This part has the electrical mount post that is off to the side of the body, like the 2242.
The post is not in the center.
Having the post not centered makes it difficult to mount it and screw it in tight spaces often found in situations under the car.
2. The 2242 has a history of failure as a wiper arm design, this part will suffer the same fate.
I would not have bought this part had I realized it had the side body post mount; that is on me.
Part was ruined trying to install it in the space I want it in.
Save up for a thick film part (Stewart Warner 279B-F) or at the least get a part that has a center mount.

Wrong boot for audi A4 B6 and B7
This steering boot does not fit the Audi A4 B6 or B7!!
Outer dimension is ~57mm (2-1/4") diameter and OEM correct diameter is ~69mm (2-3/4").
This part misses the mark entirely and drained my wallet...great quality part otherwise...

As good as any more expensive unit!!
This is as good as more expensive units.
It comes with pump and both filters.
Pump is easily replaced with a better Deatschwerks pump.
Just swap over the pump footing.
