A treasure
As with many books, sometimes, you just 'happen' upon a book at the right time, so keep that in mind when I say--this book radically changed my perspective on the power of my ability to choose. The voice is authentic, compassionate and yet in no way seeks to garner your sympathy. As Edith says: my trauma is not your trauma but that does not lessen the impact of our individual trauma we experienced. (my paraphrase). If you have EVER struggled with feeling a victim, even for 5 min, read. this.book.
