Another great family board game
We ordered this along with 2 other games to give us more options for family game time. This was recommended along with Blokus and these two have become our new favorite games to play. It is a very simple game, even a small child can figure it out. But mastering how to block while still gaining ground has become the challenge. Our kids really enjoy it and it's nice to have a 2 player game when the kids just want to go one on one. Highly recommend!

Great for the kids, but the hubby....?
1 of 1 found this helpful Started reading this book, thinking it was only full of recipes... not so. There's a bit of biography here, with background as to how the author invented these ideas and I've been pleasantly surprised by her candor in trying to get her kids to eat, including all the manipulation she tried before "sneaking" in the good stuff. I actually read some parts aloud to my husband, including some of the recipes, and although he thinks it'll be great for the kids, he's a bit wary of putting spinach in his pancakes. I can't wait to try though, and maybe he won't even notice! I love the ideas, some of which I never even dreamed of like sneaking veggies into milkshakes and cupcakes, and all the different substitutions for water in making oatmeal or boiling potatoes. Genius! It's a must read, although I doubt I'll be a fanatic about sneaking veggies into every single meal-- that's a lot of pureeing!

Great ideas but a bit labor intensive
3 of 3 found this helpful I really loved the ideas of when and how to add veggies to common foods the kids eat all the time. And there are a TON of recipes, much more than the Sneaky Chef, and many different types of recipes too... however... many of the recipes require a lot of ingredients. I made one recipe and it seemed to take awhile, even though I pureed the veggies ahead of time. I did make the quesadillas though and they turned out AWESOME and my kids loved them. It's just that when I see a recipe with 20 ingredients, some of which I've never even purchased before (like flaxseed meal) it's a bit daunting. I'd definitely buy again, and will continue to try the recipes. Great for getting out of a cooking rut!
