A hidden gem on the SEGA Genesis!
This game is often over shadowed by Shinobi 2 and 3 but in my opinion is just as good for different reasons. It's also often over looked because it's considered to be too easy. I think that behind all that lies a great game with an awesome mechanic of having a dog as your partner. You do feel a bit over powered with the dog at your side, almost as if the game was designed without the dog in mind. But playing as a Ninja with a killer attack dog by your side should feel over powered! This is a game that you can pick up for cheap, and if you liked the other Shinobi games it's definitely worth a try.

Fistful of Ash kicking!
If you are a fan of the Evil Dead series this is the game for you. Not only does it have plenty of Deadite killing fun, but you have a button that is only dedicated to Ash-isms. I have played every Evil Dead game that has come out and this is the best by far. The difficulty is not very high but even after beating it you'll want to play through again, impaling Deadites on your chainsaw brings a smile to everyone's face. And now that this awesome title is backwards compatible for the Xbox 360 you should definately add it to your collection. Gameplay and story will keep you laughing and loving it for hours and hours.

A not so hidden gem.
1 of 1 found this helpful I'm not sure there is a such thing as a hidden gem anymore. But this game is one that many missed out on back in the day. Even now if you look at a video of someone playing it you'll see that you have better looking games on your cell phone. And the game play looks like it is about as basic as it gets... But even with that being said there is something that draws you into this game. There's not much of a story, but the more you play the more you unlock of the world and the deeper you go into the dungeons. It's somehow so simple and so addictive. This game is going for a pretty penny these days, but I highly recommend it!
