LED Helping hand soldering stand

I liked my first one so much that I purchased a second one for my motorhome when I need to do any quick upgrades on the road or just when I need a magnifying glass to see a thorn or sliver to remove from my hand when necessary. Using heavier old style soldering irons needed more weight or to be clamped down while in use so it does not tip, saving yourself injury or fire. For light duty repairs or small jobs it is great but anything larger needs the use of a clamp to hold it stable. I do recommend this item as it will come in very handy in the long run.

Are we ever really prepared?

This movie is great with great special effect. It makes you think what will happen when the "big one" does hit. So are we really ever prepared for a mega quake? It is worth the price of the Blu-ray just for entertainment alone and Dwayne Johnson does it justice too.

Memories galore

I was pleasantly surprised about some of the items mentioned therein. I did the entire Route 66 when I was 10 years old back in 1956 and grew up on it in Claremont and Pomona, CA going to high school at the now "Old School House" as well as Citrus College in Azusa, CA and visiting many of the places in the SoCal area. Yes, it is a trip down memory lane for me and it may not cover all that was there but it gave me enough of a push to remember the magical times and my friends that shared it with me and cruised the Henry's Drive-In Restaurant in the hey-day of cars back in the 50's and 60's. Yes, it is a worthwhile book for those who wish to rediscover the past of Route 66 and maybe someday take a trip of your own down the old highway for your own memories. I now visit Route 66 in California and Arizona every year and can never get enough. I too will join the honor roll of the memories but at least for now, it will be an important part of my life and longing for the easier times than today's turmoil.
