Nvidia at its Best
Pros: DirectX 10 enabled with Shader model 4.0, not dual height configuration. Will play most of today's games and doesn't require excessive amounts of power.
HDTV right out of the box, solid drivers unlike some of ATI's offerings. Large 512MB of GDDR2 memory and 128-bit data interface, overall great for gaming.
Cons: A bit out of date perhaps? Who cares I suppose. Heatsink and fan looks a little small and high operating temperatures. Not SLI ready because there's no SLI connector anywhere on this card, maybe on other versions of this card but not this one. Some people have complained about the performance factor of the GDDR2 RAM itself. Again this is not the highest end of the GeForce 8 Series line and you can't expect this card to be just like the GeForce 8800 GTX/ Ultra.
Other Thoughts: Midrange card at a good price, large amounts of graphics memory and solid drivers, no SLI connector but if you don't need SLI then it's no big deal. You truly can't lose and is much better than integrated graphics processing.

An inexpensive graphics card
This graphics card was originally designed for workstation users in mind. It can be used to extend life to an older computer that needed a better graphics chip to increase 3D performance. What this card isn't is a high end graphics solution, but for the price point it serves a purpose.
Be aware what limits this card is the 512MB frame buffer, memory type and bus width. For an older PC this works really well and the DVI & DisplayPort connections really makes this card desirable. This is the second one I've purchased and it does exactly what I needed it to do.
You can also use this in a media center PC as this card is also very power efficient. This card only uses 32 watts, uses DirectX 10.1 and Shader Model 4.1. So if you see this card and need a good graphics solution at a reasonable price, get this card.
