Saved me from buying a new blender!
After over 10 years of use (if not 15 years), the base of my Krups 239 Power Plus blender bit the dust (motor still worked, but didn't "engage" the blade anymore...so the blade stopped spinning). I used this blender 2-3 x/ week, mostly for smoothies and love the fact that it is easy to clean and it is a glass jar. I started researching blenders / smoothie makers and just became more confused as reviews are all over the place. And prices for the solid performers are insane. So...thought I would check e-bay. Lo and behold, I found a replacement base. I used it the day it arrived and have used it several times since then. I am very pleased with this and it saved me from dropping a chunk of change. Very happy!

Good replacement battery
I wasn't sure if I needed a new battery or a new charger (or both) for my Bose Quiet Comfort 3 headphones so thought I would order a battery first and hoped that would be the solution. It seems that it was I was able to charge the battery and went for a long walk with my headphones (for about 2 hours) with no problem. I have truthfully only used it once since I purchased it, so am not sure of longevity or if it will hold a charge for several hours. But I am happy that I was able to replace the battery at a fraction of the cost of a battery from Bose. I will update this later if I experience any issues as I use it.

Great speakers - lousy turntable.
I was all set to buy an Audio Technica / Klipsch R15 package, but based on input from some "experts" and after reading reviews, I decided to purchase this instead. Regretting it. I know audiophiles believe that manual turntables are much better than automatic turntables, even though they are a pain in the rear because you have to get up every time the record is done and remove the needle. I was okay with that, until I saw the pathetic excuse of a belt. It is difficult to get on and is flimsy and loose. It falls off easily. I was getting all kinds of distortion with playback. I reconnected everything and made sure it was properly grounded....all to no avail. So I connected the speakers to my old, trusty Bang & Olafson (which is fully automatic). Sounded GREAT. I don't know if the distortion is because of the belt being too loose or if the needle/cartridge is bad...but I am very unhappy. I decided to get a fully automatic Audio-Technica and plan on hooking the speakers up to that. Not sure what to do with the Po-Ject turntable. Expensive lesson learned.
