BUY THE OEM SCAG ONE
This fuel cap is just that, a cap. The float does not accurately measure the fuel supply, at least not the item I received. Even when the tank is completely full it says it’s only about 3/4 and then yesterday it was reading under a half but when I went to the gas station it only took 1.5 gallons to fill up a tank that usually holds more than 8 gallons. If you’re looking for a precise measurement go with the original Scag part. Having said that, it does fit on snuggly and keeps water out of the tank which was the problem when the gauge on top of my other Busted

Inexpensive but not GIANT
It works OK but I would not call it “extra giant.” It is smaller than the one I was trying to upgrade from. Also sometimes when my cat urinates the urine runs down the outside and somehow seeps through the partition. Of course that is as much my cats fault as any design flaw this litter box has.
