    Bigger isn't always better
Don't use a massively oversized motor just because is came with the "kit". This motor is easier to fit because of it's reduced depth and is obviously lighter. This makes it an excellent choice on mounting points that also must move like the x-axis on a 3d printer or wrist joint on a robotic arm.

Snapshot of the early day's of home computers
Although this book was a self-help book for early programming it now stands primarily as a historic view of the early days of home computers. The lessons are no longer even vaguely relevant to modern programming. I do find the passages amusing to read even today and there are several short stories daydreaming of the unbelievably cool future we live in today. The illustrations are and odd collection of privative / Gothic that I find engaging. This book is an excellent example of the organic home-grown style of books available in the “old days” before the cooperate mills started grinding out the cookie cutter selection we have today. I love this addition to the “classic” computer works I own. As an aside this book was actually written by Martin J. McAuliffe who believed, as did many of his contemporaries, that computers may actually change the world.

    Heat plate works as advertised
Plate was well packaged, shipping was quick, I don't see how it could be any better.
