Good Phone, good software
2 of 2 found this helpful My wife wanted an upgrade from her Samsung Galaxy S3. She didn't know why she wanted to upgrade, but she wanted a 'newer' phone. I read a lot about the S5 and S6. I went with the S5 due to the S^ lack of memory card expansion and replaceable battery. I went with the S5 active for pricing.
She likes it a lot! It has the most recent version of Android, and some interesting Samsung software we're trying out. The size meets her request for bigger bit not phablet size. She's happy, I'm cool in her opinion, so all is well. I would advise that the S5 active does not allow for wireless charging due to it's case design. The standard S5 would allow you to use after market add ons to wirelessly charge, but the Active does not. It didn't impact my wife's affection for the phone.
