Not fit for purpose
The instructions are extremely poorly translated from Chinese, and they are also wrong! Perhaps once upon a time they did actually describe the correct procedure in poor English, but not any more.
The android software is poor, and the AP function simply does not work as far as I can tell.
I have achieved a connection via my router, but the camera is so amazingly slow both to receive an image and to move as instructed, that it is utterly unfit for anything but the dustbin.
If you want to waste a week of your free time trying to get a 2 minute delayed picture of your router cupboard onto your smartphone, then buy one of these.

Nice and Safe brass lamp holder
They're well made out of brass, and can be unscrewed easily for wiring and assembly, and contain an Earth terminal (which is critical for a metal lamp holder!).
The only negative is that the Earth terminal is on the outside of the stem, which might be a little unsightly in some applications.
