Breville always makes excellent products and the Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker is no exception!
I already own an ice-cream maker but it doesn't have its own compressor like the Smart Scoop does, which makes it so convenient. Now, I can make batch after batch of different desserts, if I chose, because I don't have to wait to refreeze the bowl as I do with my other ice-cream maker. The appliance is surprisingly quiet and easy to clean and if you have enough bench space that is the best place for it as it's fairly heavy and not something you will want to move around a lot.
So far I've made gelato, quick ice-cream, rich ice-cream and, my favourite, frozen yoghurt! I've yet to try the sorbet but am sure it will be just as delicious as the other desserts. The rich ice-cream recipes containing egg require heating and cooling before churning the ice-cream but that is the case with any ice-cream making appliance.
The Smart Scoop Ice Cream Maker will be used far more than an appliance that requires the bowl to be pre-frozen because unless the bowl lives in the freezer, it is easy to forget to do this. For me, it’s a huge bonus that I can choose fresh ingredients without preservatives or additives and make whatever delicious dessert the family would like, whenever I like!

The display control board for my Westing...
The display control board for my Westinghouse fridge/freezer WSE6100sa has been given a new lease of life which is great as the appliance is in excellent condition and just needed the replacement control board. Thank you Fridge King, you are helping to reduce unnecessary waste, which is a very good thing.

Three stainless steel dispenser spouts for the price of one!
Incredible price for three stainless steel dispenser spouts. They work well and don't drip. They are quick and easy to clean and fit all of the bottles that I use.
