Worth trying
My horse has had scratches for over 2 yrs. Have tried many remedies including vet recommended treatments. Most of which recommended getting the scabs off, which involved almost getting my head kicked off. After which I just gave up for a while. (Let him live with it, I like having my head attached!)
When I saw Coat Defense advertised, I was feeling guilty for not doing anything to treat it, and decided to try it.
Have to admit, at first I was applying it hit & miss & didn't see it doing much good. Decided to get serious about it & apply it qod as recommended. Unlike some reviews, I can't say it is gone after 1 wk., but I can definitely notice an improvement. Just have a few stubborn spots to keep working on.
So for anyone wondering about about trying it - I would definitely recommend giving it a try!
Yes it's a little expensive, but being able to keep my head attached is worth it!
