Not true 4 gauge but it works.
I have to go with a previous review I read about this kit. It is not true 4 gauge. I mean I haven't seen amp wire like this since '91. The power wire is so small the speaker wire I used on a previous car for my two 12's was thicker than this. This is just for a little extra bass in the wife's car so no big deal, but if I was trying to do something major, I would be upset right now. Anything less then 500 watts this is for you, anything over that I say move on over to the next kit with a good name and spend the money. If I had some to compare it to I would say this is 8 gauge in a super thick jacket, 1990's 8 gauge. If I have enough left over I will use that as wire from the amp to the sub. Oh and the speaker wire in the kit looks like something that should be used for an adapter to charge my phone its so thin. No way this is a 2000 watt kit sorry to say.
