Best 35mm lens for the money

I thought this lens would be too much of a compromise given its size and price, but it turns out to be my favorite lens. The combination of this lens and the Sony A7 is perfect for hiking. It is so small and light, I can carry it around all day. I haven't read any technical reviews of the lens, but it feels very sharp in the center and a little softer at the edges. I included a few photos from my hikes.

Excellent lens for the money.

I find it to be a great outdoor walk-around lens with good close focusing capabilities.
