Compact and useful for smaller jobs
I bought this to sow a set of curtains, mistake!! This Little Tailor is too light and not sturdy enough to tackle big jobs with heavy fabrics. After a few hours, a lot of sweat and a few tears I did manage to complete my curtains but it was quite a bodge job. I would like to add this is most probably due to my complete incompetence as this was my first sowing job.
I'm keeping this little sowing machine though because it will do GREAT for smaller repair jobs. Moral of the story: you need the right tools for certain jobs!

Okay but not like the photo!
The picture gives the impression of a deep, heavy cloak, however this is a light, shiny cape. It's cheap and cheerful don't get me wrong but if you're looking for weight then better off spending a bit more on something else. I bought this to wear on a horse and I had to add weights to it so it didn't fly around and scare the horse.
